As the former Careers Lead for Oxford Deanery I continue to work one-to-one with trainee doctors to help them resolve their career dilemmas and facilitate some of our career workshops on decision-making for Foundation trainees. I’ve also run workshops for educational supervisors to encourage them to help their trainees with non-directive career support For me one's career is such a personal matter that helping is not about giving advice to, or having the answers for someone, it's about helping people find their own answers.

I'm an accredited coach on the Thames Valley and Wessex Leadership Academy Coaching Register and also work as a coach supervisor for local NHS coaches. My first career was in publishing, where I especially enjoyed recruiting and training teams; this was where my curiosity about self-development and motivation began.
