Dr. Hugh Stradling
Having qualified from the Middlesex Hospital in 1973, I decided upon a
career in Medicine and enjoyed the challenge up to Membership of the
Royal College of Physicians. Hospital politics made me look around at
other possibilities and General Practice beckoned.
Now that I have spent 28 years in Practice, I can reflect on a most
enjoyable time. This has taken me through many interesting medical
areas (Rheumatology, Dermatology, Palliative Care and Travel Medicine),
but also enabled me to be a Trainer for the last ten years, an
Appraiser for the last three years and now a part of the Career
Development Unit.
