I qualified in Australia in 1987 and have been a GP partner since
1993, initially for six years in a semi-rural practice and since 1999
in Oxford city. I have been involved with teaching, training and assessment for several years: as a GP trainer since 2000, a Programme Director on the Oxford District GP VTS since 2003, for three years as a lecturer on the NB Medical Hot Topics course for the MRCGP, and as the co-author of a book on the nMRCGP. I was appointed to the CDU in 2009.
I greatly enjoy helping learners enhance their own potential, using creative and flexible approaches to achieve this. |
