Ms Jane Moore

I qualified in 1987 from The Royal London Hospital and worked in London before taking time to travel, and work in a rural hospital in South Africa. On my return to the UK, I started training in Bristol in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After a spell as a research registrar in laparoscopic surgery, I completed my training in the Oxford deanery in 2003. When my children were small, I also took time out of training to complete an MSc.

Since starting my consultant post as a gynaecologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, I have developed a deeper interest in education and training and particularly in the involvement of patients in medical education. I started working for the PSU in 2014 and thoroughly enjoy the privilege of working one to one with trainees in this way.
