Dr Sheena Dykes was Director of the Career Development Unit until April 2011 but continues to work for the unit as a coach. She initially trained as a Psychiatrist specialising in Liaison Psychiatry and worked as an NHS Consultant at Bucks Mental Health NHS Trust, later becoming Medical Director for a time. She is a qualified Executive Coach and works with doctors in difficulty and those with career dilemmas. She has also worked independently with senior people from a range of backgrounds in the public and private sector to improve personal performance, find ways to reduce work overload and manage transitions in their lives and careers.
